As the No. 1 international trade fair for printing technologies, drupa reflects the status of the industry and focuses on future themes with strong growth potential – such as 3D printing, functional printing and package printing. The drupa exhibit categories are divided into six main segments: pre-press/print; pre-media/multichannel; post press/converting/package printing; future technologies; materials; and equipment/ services/infrastructure. The entire range of applications and business areas will be presented at drupa. No other event in this industry has a stronger international reach and attraction. At the show’s last staging in 2016, 1,828 exhibitors from 55 nations and 260,165 visitors from 183 countries took part. About 70% of the drupa exhibitors usually come from nations other than Germany, including more than 100 companies from the U.S.

drupa 2020 will focus on future topics with major growth potential: packaging production, functional printing, 3D printing and industrial printing. Highlights at the trade show will include the special forum “Touchpoint Packaging”, addressing manufacturers of branded products and designers as well as companies from the packaging segment and the “AMAZING, INSPIRING, EXCITING and UNEXPECTED” event presenting  best case studies, innovative technology applications and visionary packaging solutions for different markets.

Messe Düsseldorf North America will again organize a U.S. Pavilion at drupa 2020, co-sponsored by NPES, The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies. The U.S. Pavilion provides a cost-effective means for U.S. companies to enter into or to expand their business in the lucrative overseas marketplace. The all-inclusive pavilion turnkey rental package includes a fully furnished booth, access to an attractive lounge area with daily snack and beverage service and the on-site service of a project manager, hostesses and roaming interpreters. In addition, U.S. Commercial Service staff will be on hand in the U.S. Pavilion to assist with export and licensing questions. info@mdna.com
